Cacao beans are dried after harvesting before they’re fermented and cracked into small pieces called “cacao nibs.” These rich little bits contain powerful plant compounds that have been shown to improve blood flow and boost your mood by releasing endorphins in the brain – which is why many people refer to them as nature’s natural antidepressant!

Cacao nibs are 100% raw chocolate and are among the least processed cocoa products on the market. They are substantially lower in sugar than other chocolate products, making them a healthier alternative for chocolate lovers.

They’re also packed with an impressive amount of nutrients which include 170 calories per ounce (28 grams), 3g protein, 15g fat, 5 g fibre and 1 gram of sugar.

Cacao nibs provide 6% iron from your daily reference intake to maintain healthy blood cells as well has 16% magnesium to help regulate calcium levels that can prevent osteoporosis later in life or muscle spasms when consumed during pregnancy.

In addition, they all contain; phosphorus 9%, copper 25% and zinc 6%.

The health benefits do not end there – cocoa nibs have antioxidants such as flavonoids which have been linked with many health benefits including reduced risk for diabetes or breast cancer.
